Let me tell you a story...

Ever since I discovered this forum, I've been mesmerized by the Submariner no date non cosc. Being 16 with no real source of income, the chances of me buying a 4,000 dollar watch were slim to none. After spending way too much time on this forum, I decided to set my mind to earning enough money for the 14060M non COSC no matter how long it took so I started doing some odd jobs, buying and selling watches on this forum and ebay for a profit and other ways of making small amounts of money. Amazingly, only 7 months later, I had enough money for this mint condition Submariner No Date and the best part was that I earned every penny of it myself without help from the family. As they say, a crown for every achievement, and this first Rolex is certainly an achievement for me

Great story and a hell of an accomplishment.

Two pieces of advice:

1. Never Ever sell that watch.

2. Apply that same focus and dedication that earned the 14060 to the rest of your life.

We look forward to having you be a member of this forum for many years to come. People like you remind me what a great community this is.

Thank You.

Great job! You will be successful in life if you use the same philosophy on your goals!

I paid my way for 4 years at college doing the same thing. I bought "stuff" at craigslist/garage sales/pawn shops/good will and re sold on eBay. It's amazing what you can achieve when you write down your goals and stick to a plan.

HUGE congrats ! I bought my first nice watch when I was 17. It was an Omega Speedmaster Pro. To this day, I really regret trading it. I have a feeling I'll bring it back to my collection this fall. So don't ever sell that watch, you will regret it!

^ my story is similar to yours. I'm just a little older then you :D.

The most expensive Rolex.

On this forum, I've seen pictures of a LOT of gold subs, platinum daydates, the Yachtmaster II and so on.

Your watch is the most expensive one I've seen so far.
