Let me tell you a story...
Ever since I discovered this forum, I've been mesmerized by the Submariner no date non cosc. Being 16 with no real source of income, the chances of me buying a 4,000 dollar watch were slim to none. After spending way too much time on this forum, I decided to set my mind to earning enough money for the 14060M non COSC no matter how long it took so I started doing some odd jobs, buying and selling watches on this forum and ebay for a profit and other ways of making small amounts of money. Amazingly, only 7 months later, I had enough money for this mint condition Submariner No Date and the best part was that I earned every penny of it myself without help from the family. As they say, a crown for every achievement, and this first Rolex is certainly an achievement for me

Great story and a hell of an accomplishment.
Two pieces of advice: 1. Never Ever sell that watch. 2. Apply that same focus and dedication that earned the 14060 to the rest of your life. We look forward to having you be a member of this forum for many years to come. People like you remind me what a great community this is. Thank You.

OUTSTANDING! You, young man, have learned the essence of individual effort and ultimately, capitalism. Keep that work ethic throughout your life, and you will have everything you ever want.

Great job! You will be successful in life if you use the same philosophy on your goals!
I paid my way for 4 years at college doing the same thing. I bought "stuff" at craigslist/garage sales/pawn shops/good will and re sold on eBay. It's amazing what you can achieve when you write down your goals and stick to a plan. |

HUGE congrats ! I bought my first nice watch when I was 17. It was an Omega Speedmaster Pro. To this day, I really regret trading it. I have a feeling I'll bring it back to my collection this fall. So don't ever sell that watch, you will regret it!
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=184559 ^ my story is similar to yours. I'm just a little older then you :D.

The most expensive Rolex.
On this forum, I've seen pictures of a LOT of gold subs, platinum daydates, the Yachtmaster II and so on.
Your watch is the most expensive one I've seen so far.
