I was checking them out. I think their prices are a little bit high. If I am going to buy used, I expect a (bigger) price break.

It's my understanding that A & E are legit sellers with a good reputation.

FWIW-I have lived in San Francisco for 25 years and never heard of them...they aren't an AD, I know that.

Checked out their site and some videos on youtube from them in the past. They seem ok to me based on that but of course never bought from them.

I went there the last time I was in San Francisco. Legit. Tons of watches online, some nice ones to look at at the store in the case. There was a datejust that I was looking at. Price was stated and I balked. Told him I was going to have lunch and think about it. The price started dropping substantially. They will negotiate. On the phone as well they were willing to drop prices.

A lot of thier watches have after market bezels and dials. Buyer beware.

If you do go there in person, you have to let them know in advance. They will have to put your name on a list at the front door with security. Otherwise you won't be able to get into the building. The entire building is jewelery businesses.

I couldn't find it?

The 5513 is the most beautiful Sub ever made, imho. I must have one some day.

Anyway, I did find THIS:

I believe I just saw the WORST Sub Date in my life. What a horrible looking modified example. POOR Sub Date!

Have to agree.......

I suppose there must be a market for this type of watch, but I have never seen anyone wear one around here....
