buying on ebay vs chorono

There are some mixed feelings here about ebay. But my questions is chrono24 any better or worst.

Also I was reading chrono24 a little it seem to suggest that they have a escrow service or get involved with the transaction. Is this crafty wording or are they just like ebay or paypal.

It all depends on the seller, no matter if you see their ad on Ebay or Chrono24. I have bought many things off Ebay and one watch from Chrono24.

I'm not familiar with Chrono24, but in recent shopping it seemed to me that you could take an average price from "trusted TRF sellers" add the eBay fees, and that's what you pay on eBay. So why pay more?

I will add though, if it's something special and eBay is your only choice, I have heard that eBay's buyer protection has gotten much better. So maybe the risk is lower today.

I've used iconic, watch finder and eBay plenty of times.
All been fine every time
As long as you do your research all options are open to purchasers.

You got my curiosity up, so I looked into Chrono24. You can use their Trusted Checkout, which guarantees that you can get a refund if the watch is not what you expected. It will cost you, the buyer, 2.5% of the purchase price, and you pay for return shipping. That may be worth it in some cases. Still, I'd go with a trusted TRF seller first, if they have the watch that you want.

Trusted sellers here, and not worry about the other sites...
