Lol dont know about the investment aspect of it, it being a mass produced watch. Although rolex have proven time after time that it holds value. That being said, the thread was about HULK being discontinued or not and forum members view on it.
Anyways why wait for tomorrow. Put on your running shoes and runnn, go to your AD right now. Best of luck!!

Hulk has been predicted to be discontinued on this board for about 5 years.

My AD with multiple locations did say it is highly likely that it will be discontinued with the last of the watched shipping in 2019. But I don't know if he knows this for a fact or it's his assumption. I do know he got me a Batman in 3 weeks when he originally told me a month and until I joined this forum I had no idea how difficult they are to acquire and how fortunate I am.

What does it matter, you can't buy one at a dealer anyway.

You mean go to your gray. Haven’t seen a lot of hulks coming from ADS lately. Mainly other watches

Stinking rotten AD rumors (and "other" generated rumors) just go on and on and on and everyone buys into them, time and time again.

The <U.S.> Rolex 2020 MSRP List shows the watch as follows:

116610LV: $9,350.00

So just what the he!! does this TELL you about the LV's production!

End Of Discussion!

Rant Over.

Not sure this has any bearing - rolex doesn’t d/c models on a calendar year schedule (ie start of a new year) so
Of course the price increase will hit it. Still doesn’t mean it can’t be discontinued after Basel 2020... which is in April. Not that I think it will be . Just sayin’.

Why would Rolex discontinue one of its most popular models????????? How does that make any sense? In fact the only person that would want to see it discontinued would be someone that owns 10 of them, has zero interest in them and would love to profit from the sheer panic that would follow a discontinuation announcement. Hey, maybe Rolex will discontinue the champagne dial day date also. Lmao. Or maybe the white dialed SS Daytona????

All models get discontinued eventually. One day I 100% guarantee you it will be discontinued. Could be 2020, could be 2030. But it will happen. Nobody guessed that the black dial / black bezel GMT II would be discontinued last year, but it was.

It was by far the least selling least desired GMT they had. They went in a different direction for GMT‘s. Much more desirable. IMO that’s a bad comparison. I stand by my opinion they won’t discontinue a model that still has 10’s of thousands of people waiting to get it.

I have it on record with a good source that it will be discontinued due to a lack of green ceramic

Between the green Aquanaut and the beautiful green dial Panerais out, there isnt enough room in the market to justify it. ;)

The Sub Date LV has been in continuous production since 2003 and is still a popular model.

I don't see any reason, nor can I think of a reason why a Dealer would think, that Rolex would suddenly discontinue it.

An I told you so. BFD.

As stated earlier in this thread, every year for the last five years someone pipes off about the LV Hulk getting dropped. So this was the year. Congratulations, you win the Internet for the day.

If you were only a little more attentive on the first post of this thread. “10 years up for the Hulk” and then its all speculations. It makes sense to speculate a Rolex watch to be discontinued after 10 years, especially when its an anniversary piece. Well, it did get discontinued and i wanted to let Mr Firebloke know that.
There is no award to be won for just being right about the discontinuation. Its all speculations. Its watch forum, we can write our thoughts and opinions on watch related topics.

And yes, congratulations to me. Lol
