i've known quite a few loonies before and most of them I call friends. One guy collects Coleman lanterns but he only has 178 of them. another friend collects cameras and lenses I think he has less then 200. But I've never seen a collection like that.

I don't understand how he could truly enjoy that collection.

He can't possibly wear them all.

Holy Cow! I mean...HOLY COW! Man, how many of us here would be like that if we had the means to get to that state? I'm thinking not a lot.

It's like Mel Gibson with this compulsion to buy "Catcher In the Rye" whenever he's near some bookstore in Conspiracy Theory.

I am pretty sure he could have an awesome collection of rolexes and pateks lol instead of a bunch of watches in boxes. He must have owned a watch store or something

I'm inclined to agree with some of the people above. I have a Seiko, and I really like it. But almost 500 of them? Like thegoodlife777, a smaller collection of those would be a lot better than what he has.

I saw maybe 1 watch in there I really want. It also makes me sad, regardless of the watch, to see them piled on top of each other and thrown haphazardly in drawers.
