I'm still here and have been since the start. These days I stay in the background though. I'm still in touch with many of the old guys, mainly on Facebook. James (Gedanken) is still scary and settled down with his wife and daughter in Melbourne, Australia. Jim (Jimbits76) is busy with work and his charity work. Frans from Rotterdam sent me a card at Christmas. He doesn't post on the Internet any more but is spending more time with his wife Anne.

Wow. Adrian! Uncle AJ.....this thread brings back
memories of the Rolexforum days when people were getting
banned left and right, and whacky posts about watches,
life, love and the Universe....

Being banned from other forums was a prerequisite in the old days. It was how we all ended up here. I've always blamed Ed (Rockrolex) for me being banned from another place.

Talking about some of the good old guys, on Friday my wife and I met up with Chip (slrdude) and Kevin Jacques's (KJacques) daughter Rachel in London.

Rachel who took a break from work to meet up with us.

Chip who was in transit and arrived later in the day.

I still lurk but don't really post anywhere besides FB. Luxury watches took a bit of a backseat when my son got a brain tumour.

Over on FB you can find many of the old gang including James (Gedanken), some are even part of the wristwatch enthusiasts group.

Holy shite, I just got all nostalgic... So many of the old timers on this thread, miss y'all posting here. Many of you were the reason I stayed. Reminds me of the good ol' times, which we can - and should - bring back.
