Who Says a Vintage Rolex Cannot Keep Good Time!

I usually do not wear my GMT 1675 on the weekend. It usually runs out of juice late Sunday, because of that. I set the time Monday morning and wind it. I keep the watch face down in its case

This weekend I had a meeting to go to on Saturday, so I wore it.

Today, I went to set it this morning and thought something was wrong. I checked the time against my atomic Casio G-Shock, which I set it with last Monday, and it had gained two seconds in eight days!

This was the "Barn Find" that was not working, until Dalton did his magic. That was over two years ago!

Thanks, Dalton

I would expect most vintage Rolex that we talk about, in good working order, to keep excellent time.
