Help identify watch
Hi,
I have inherited my grandfather's watch collection and would like some help identifying a certain watch. It is a Unicorn Amphibian 17 Jewel Incabloc. I have attached an image. The only info I have been able to find on the internet is that Unicorn may have been a brand of Rolex. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks |

The Unicorn name was patented in 1919, Rolex used it until circa 1933. During this time they were fitted with Rolex movements.
Later Unicorn watches were a brand of AS (Adoloph Schild) and were a completely separate entity from Rolex. They used Schild movements and depending on beat rate, were AS caliber 1711 (if 18000 A/h) or AS caliber 1901 (if 21600 A/h). Unfortunately, a Unicorn made in the 1950s is no longer a Rolex product.

Additionally, Rolex never used the Incabloc shock system.
