Couldn't agree more. JP aka "Springer" is my go to guy for all things vintage (watches, bracelets and inserts) and am never disappointed. Having "Springer" associated with your watch is an outstanding boost to the provenance.
These three GMTs all came from "Springer" and are keepers in my Rolex sports watch collection

I've always been a modern watch guy and the idea of vintage just scared me. I knew that I eventually wanted a vintage GMT Master but there were too many unknowns and details that I needed to look for that I was not very educated in.

Two weeks ago I gave John a call and I'm glad I did. He put a lot of my worries at ease and rest is history. Now I have my first vintage Rolex and I couldn't be happier! Thanks again John for the 16750! Hope to do business again soon!

Recent purchase from Springer - 1675 and 16030

I just received delivery of a GMT and Datejust from John. John was great to work with and I am thrilled to have both watches. John was a wealth of knowledge, answered questions and also helped source a couple extra dial options for the Datejust. The Datejust will be mostly on my wife's wrist and I think she will enjoy it for many years.

I recently bought a 16750 from JP, and he was extremely helpful, friendly, and easy to work with. The watch arrived exactly when he said it would and was as described in beautiful condition. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from JP again, especially considering that he has some of the best watches around.

This is my first post and I want to share with everyone what a gentleman and wealth of knowledge John (aka Springer) has been to me. John went above and beyond my expectations by sourcing parts, assembling and sizing a vintage bracelet and completing a watch I have always admired. The extensive amount of work for a small reward truly reflects his passion. IMHO, he is an asset to TRF. Thank you, John.

Springer One Of The Good Guys!

Purchased a GMT 62510 Jubilee bracelet with 502T end links from John what a class act! Very professional never dealt with a deal like this. Received the bracelet everything he said it was and more. It does not get any better than a deal with Springer .. Thanks JP your the best!

Another feather in John's cap. Bought another GMT from JP and the watch came the next day as described if not better. He's always a pleasure to chat with on the phone about ALL things (outside watches), I can always appreciate a man with good taste/hobbies. Rest assured guys when it comes to watches, John's brutally honest and a stickler for originality. Thanks again for the great watch JP, I'll take good care of it and look forward to dealing in the future. Stay classy my friend.

Two thumbs way up for John Springer!

John is a great guy to buy your first Rolex from! He sold me a beaut of a 16710 GMT and went out of his way to make it a personal experience for both of us. I had no doubt I was getting a great piece and it's even cleaner than I expected. Buy with confidence from John, he won't steer you wrong.

I'll definitely be checking in with John when I'm ready to make my next purchase (yes, I'm hooked!)

Please allow my first post on this helpful forum to be about my pleasant, straightforward experience with "springer" (John).

The watch, now in my possession, is beyond my initial expectations, even with the trove of photos, emails, and verbal back and forth we shared pre-purchase.

I wanted a no excuses piece at the top of the heap, and that is what I received. I also bought the seller, which in this hobby is paramount.

I look forward to staying in touch for future needs, beyond referring to his replies and threads that show compelling authority on all things small about these watches.

Thanks, John!

what can I say that hasn't already been said. I was looking for a gmt circa my birth year and once I saw it VIA John, I knew I had to get it. Mind you I know nothing about vintage. All I knew was I was tired of going to places and every other table had a modern. John hooked me up with a great watch that I know I'll enjoy for years to come. No hesitation. This guy is a gentleman.

I guess I was on the noob side for sure and asked some really stupid questions. All I know is John reassured me I'm getting what I paid for. Watch arrived better than his pictures.

If you're on the fence, let john guide you.
