The Ressence Type 1 Squared

Here is the article published by Hodinkee

I just don't know - if I would spend this amount of money on a watch - if it would be on a Ressence ?

Than there's a lot of other options on the market

Would you ?

The Ressence type 3 is a gorgious piece and I love the innovation it brings. I could never see buying one but I can certainly see the appeal for those who would.

Neat looking watch with some really cool innovations but not at that price, yikes.

So, does that mean you're coming to the Netherlands?

Hope so, I'm working on a deal with a Dutch company and might have to go there for a couple of days to finalize it.

When I first saw this brand's "cool" looking watch, whichever model that is, I thought "wow, that looks awesome. Probably 4 or 5 grand."

Nope! 20 grand!?

Just send an email to my buddy watchmaker in Belgium regarding the Ressence

His best friend owns the old and this model

Ran into problems with both . . . .

A system swatch is more appealing.

Whenever I see unknown swiss brands on abtw I always know the price is going to be sky high.

It's definitely appealing, but @$20k it just isn't there. If it was in the $2,800 to $3,200 range I would consider it, maybe.

I prefer the Type 3, but can't see spending $20K+ on it.
