16520 what's the difference between 'A' serial number and 'U' Serial

HI,
I would love to know the difference between 'A' serial number and 'U' serial number apart from the age what's the significant difference between them as I'm trying to get one and the 'A' serial seems to cost more.... I've heard the 'A" serial got the "A" on the "Bracelet " as well.... Is it worth the extra?? Thanks...

A serials have original luminova dials and hands as well as the SEL bracelet. A & P serials are the last of the Zenith's and have the final upgrades before the model change-over.

Well the U serial the case was stamped sometime between August 1997 and September 1998.While the A serial was stamped sometime between November 1998 and December 1999.The A serial will most properly have the Luminover dial and SEL instead of the Tritium dial on the U serial. And it makes no difference what the bracelet stamp is,the difference in price is the perceived difference it watch age..
