Who of you used to wear larger watches and now prefers more compact case sizes?

I used to wear IWC 43mm chronos and big pilot but now moving to 40/41 mm. And that is partly due to the DJ41 I got for daily wear. It fit so well that whenever I wore my IWCs after wearing DJ for a few weeks, they will feel bulky.

After a few days of constantly wearing Daytona, a few words from me. A small, compact watch with a rather illegible time indication. The workmanship is at a decent level - I did not find any babola with the naked eye. When it comes to ergonomics, it is less comfortable to wear than the Datejust 41, Hulk or GMT-Master II. Perhaps on a smaller wrist the feeling would be different, but on my 19.5 cm wrist I positioned it most comfortably in the sentence above. The chrono works flawlessly, the pushers click decently, and unscrewing them is quick and easy. When screwing in, you need to tighten it sensitively, because if you do it too lightly, they can loosen from, for example, wiping the bezel with a cloth. The werk did an average of +1.9s/day, which is the worst result of all my Rolexes so far. Other night-time putting positions don't help (at least I didn't find it). Its big advantage is that it goes to zero when worn, and it does the whole deviation while lying in the box. Now I threw it into the rotor to test the length of the power reserve after taking it out. To sum up: a small, decently made, but not outstanding Rolex watch. Certainly not for a one-watch (although you can wear it with everything), because there is no date, and you need reasonably good glasses to read it quickly. In my opinion, the Daytona is definitely overhyped, and the title of the most desirable Rolex was given to it exaggeratedly due to the high beating on the secondary one, which enhances its "elitism". If I had known about all this before buying, would I have chosen Daytona? But of course! I believe that only organoleptically you can form a correct opinion about the watch you are interested in. And what about the white Daytona? Nothing, stays for now. They say it can be like good whiskey...

you don't buy this watch for legibility or usefulness. You buy and wear it because its the best looking watch in the market IMHO.

Tell em' Richard! Any complaints of a SS White Daytona at retail is the talk of fools. If the reviewer thinks its "overhyped", certainly he would offload to a fellow forum member at retail...

I dont per say have any complaints about legibility, in fact even with 116520, it was fine for me. But yes, legibility comapred to IWC pilot watches that I had in the past is less but that is what I would expect.
