Rolex 16528 gold plated spring bar

Hi all,

I would like to know if the spring bar connecting the last link and the clasp is gold plated or solid gold on a 16528?

They are 18k gold, and cost 51CHF per piece.

The spring inside is steel and the outside is 18k gold plated?
