Miyota Co Japan
Hi,
If a watch says Miyota Co Japan and One 1 jewel when you take the back casing off is it most certainly a fake Rolex ? The watch would be from 1960 ish maybe even earlier. Anyones help on this matter would be very gratefully received. Nikki |

It is counterfeit. Where is the date window - the dial does read Datejust?

Sorry 'bout that. It definitely could be Geneva and not Datejust.

could be that the movement was replaced... only for the fact that i dont think anyone would bother to fake that model watch, no offense, it's just that its not a well known model (to me at least) :-D

15 - 20 years ago there were thousands of watches similar to this around, basically anything in any shape or form with the Rolex coronet and a mixture of geneve, Swiss you name it, most I saw were in the streets or main cities in China and Hong Kong even London.
Chepo 20 buck fakeroos, every one I knew would come back with a fakeroo or 10 to give to friends, I got laughed at many time when I arrived home with a new genuine Rolex LOL.
