Rolex prices in Hong Kong and Macau, Retail pricing and Servicing pricing in RSC

Hi everyone ,

I am a proud owner of a U series 16613 bluesy submariner, here now i want to share some information with everyone on Hong Kong and Macau Retail prices. Generally all stores follow the RRP of Rolexes in the list attached in pics.

Well I am not really sure about discounts possibility for the AD watches, but I heard yes it does offer a certain discount.

If anyone do have information about discounts, here in HK and Macau, please post reply.

additional info, recently approach hk RSC for my submariner , restoration and lube, was charged, hkd 1750.

If you all are keen on rollie used and pre owned, look no further than to come to macau for a visit to pawn shops. i heard japanese online pre owned and store are the greatest as well.

Thanks everyone.

Keep the thread going.

Rolex AK for HK$30,000 / 7.8 = US$3,846

Online at Jomashop, the AK 114200 is US$3,444

So far, the prices at Jomashop.com are pretty close to discounted prices in Asia. I got my AK in the Philippines for about the same back then but it's lower now because of currency devaluation (approx. US$3,200).

Generally, most AD in HK offer 10% discount. You might be able to get 15% if you know someone or pay cash.

In HK, discount depends on items but not higher than 10%. For hot items, no more discount.

Several recent posts indicate HK AD discount is now 8%. I was in HK last in December 2007 and 10% could be had without much negotiation. Based on recent posts, this seems to have gone down to 8%.

Rolex is hot in HK. So it is harder to get discount on popular rolex models. However, I can >10% off for non-Rolex brand, like PP!

In case anyone's curious, Singapore prices are pretty much the same as HK.

I was in HK this March and went into an AD in Kowloon looking at men and lady DJ. The sales offer 10% off right away. I know they might be able to knock a couple % off if you show them the cash.

In my experience, the Chinese are very superstitious. For example, they'll sometimes give huge discounts to the first customer they see in the morning. They also give big discounts during Chinese holidays or Chinese New Year.

It also helps if you develop a relationship with the salespeople. If they think you'll keep going back, they'll put the prices way down and take advantage of the turnover. They prefer turnover over profit. So, if they feel confident you'll come back and bring in more business, they'll bring the prices down.
