New to TRF
Greetings,
I have spent a significant time on WUS the last few weeks researching watches. Came across a few deals through ADs and made a few purchases of non-rolex watches. I'm now eyeing my first Rolex so I'll be spending some time here. :o. I was originally torn between a GMT2 and Explorer2 for a watch with GMT functionality. Then I was telling myself, how about I get both! After obsessing for a few days and to keep the spending under control, I've decided if I'm going to add 2 more watches to my collection it will be a Explorer 2 for the GMT and a Submariner. I'm leaning heavily towards an Explorer2 Polar (love the white dial) and a Submariner 16610lv (love the hulk's green bezel). I also like the idea of being able to swap out the bezel to black if I want a more subtle look or to color coordinate. Anyways glad to be onboard and I'll be keeping an eye out on classifieds. ;), planning on purchasing preowned. Cheers! Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk |

A little confused about your plans for swapping the bezel on the LVc...that is not a simple or easy DIY job. Are you perhaps referring to the 16610LV (aluminum bezel)? Anyway, best of luck in your searches! |
