Mk4 Pepsi

Is this a thing? I thought there were only 3 iterations for the current Pepsi. Any examples?

It can become a thing if at least 50% agree. It’s in the rules.

If nine or more forum members vote in favor of a MK IV then it will pass as a true bill.

Problem is they all have such slight color variations that you can only hyper-dissect the hue so many times. 3 is more than enough. Even being picky I only see 2 variations since it’s ceramic release.

Not only that, but different lighting conditions change the presentation of any given piece. Way too hard to differentiate beyond two or three primaries.

Have to agree. This bezel insert is a chameleon, washed pastel or rich and vibrant depending on the light.

Without lining them up, it must be very hard tell if there is yet another slight variation..

Lighting. eyes of the beholder and batch variation.

The red can sometimes bleed through the blue to different extents according to the wavelength, temperature, intensity and angle of the light hitting it. You can interpret this as an infinite number of colour variations if you want to. Trouble is, you'll never be able to buy the one you want because it will change colour.

If my blue acquires a slightly purplish tint, I could just twist my wrist or walk into an adjacent area where the lighting is different, but I don't bother. I'm too busy just living my life and loving my BLRO, which is blue and red 95% of the time.

Love this chat … think what I’ve seen mark 1 wise is a very pastel looking red/pink , and a few later models that look much darker, that’s from those I’ve seen, wonder how many the doubters have actually and honestly held and checked ?
I imagine the bezel on the Pepsi is the most discussed topic on this forum, apart from maybe “ is it safe “ “ how long do I need to wait “ “ do you hate nicknames “ “ should I wear my watch in the ghetto “ ….
Either way, the Rolex Pepsi is a lovely watch, whatever colour variation the bezel may have ..
