That’s not a concern with our trusted Sellers here.

I second what another forum member stated. Get the 31, and trade it in for the 36. Pay the difference.😜

He won’t get enough over retail to make that worth his while. 31 is the least sought after size. He’s better off just buying from our trusted seller, IMO, of course.

It’s pretty impossible to get the larger sizes, especially the 41mm which is generally reserved for celebrities and the elite in society.

Tom, the Celebration OP is very, very... oh sooooo very hard to come by. Even Vvip, no dice on a 41mm for me. Nope, none. so....... Ask your wife about the 31mm, tho my wife said she'd turn it down because she can't read small dials (the 36mm is fine for her) plus she visually prefers 35-39mm.

How is it in 31 mm, still hard to get?
As I wrote before this store or my AD has gotten me a rainbow daytona but says 36 and 41 will be impossible...

She has a few 36 rolex, and has tried 31. It does not look bad but 36 is her preffered size. If the 36 and 41, is so hard to get maybe she will have to settle..
Are you a VIP customer too?

I can’t explain it.

The rarity of the 41 is only eclipsed by its amazingness.

The legend says that it can make the hungry feel full, and the full feel hungry.

So should I still take the 31?

One of our trusted sellers has one. It can be yours for a mere $25,000. The 36 mm are almost 15,000.

Only if she will wear it. Too small for my taste. If she wears other watches that size, get it. If not, don’t! She will leave it in her jewelry box, in favor of a larger piece.

I would not buy this dial from anyone without a white hang tag, and even then I probably wouldn’t.

This one is from an AD only for me.

One of our trusted Sellers has 2 36 mm versions, both with white hang tags. I would buy it from him, if I could afford it. There is a reason we call them “Trusted Sellers” I can’t afford it, so it’s a moot point for me. However, if the OP can afford a Rainbow Daytona, he can most likely afford to pay market price for a 36 mm Celebration dial OP, for his wife. It’s likely the only way he can attain one.

If she wants a 36mm then she wants a 36mm, end of discussion surely right?

My AD keeps all white hang tags, some AD’s do the same.

Call me old fashioned, but why not take your wife into the AD and have her try on the size that’s available. I’m sure she’s more than capable of making this decision based on how it actually looks and feels rather than going off the whims of strangers and watch nerds from all over the world who ALSO haven’t tried on a 31mm Celebration Unicorn…..

I know they do and I am not saying all Celebration dials for sale without a hangtag are fake. I am saying there are way too many fake celebration dials out there and I would never chance it going grey without a white hangtag.

I believe the top trusted sellers would never knowingly sell a fake dial but let’s not give them too much credit and dismiss the possibility they can be fooled by a fake dial on an authentic watch.

A white hangtag is a must on a super hype dial watch. I.e. Celebration, JM Daytona, meteorite etc

just wait for the 36mm as it's your wife's first choice. plus the celebration dial hype has cooled down quite a bit lately, should be more available now than expected earlier.

The 'VIP' customer gets the watch no-one else wants? Nice.

Personally, IF you can re-sell it at a profit, I would buy it, sell it, and get the 36 grey.

I am thinking the same, maybe I should talk to my store again if wife does not like 31.

If you are a VIP then I can assume you have spent a decent amount of money at the AD. That being said don’t settle for the 31 and if they won’t get you the 36 then go grey, if you settle on the 31 and she doesn’t like it then you will need the 36 anyways.
Good lock!

My view is hang out for what you want. As others have stated, the 31mm will just be a slightly acerbic reminder of what could have been.
And remember the absolute rule, if you don't get the 36mm there will always be another watch you want to buy!

Celebration OP for wife dilemma

It’s amazing how many folks on here are shills for “trusted sellers”, ie, used watch salesman. I’m not just talking about this thread.

I’m not saying these guys would knowingly sell an altered watch, but to think that they couldn’t possibly be fooled is a bit of a stretch.

As for whether to get this watch, the AD is telling you as plainly as possible you’re not getting a 36. Tell your wife and she can determine how much she likes the 31, given that information. After trying it on.
