That case within a case concept is perfect for safe shipping when put inside a stout box

I have the small casebudi & it works great. Fits my sub & my 42mm Seiko diver perfect. Oakley is overpriced.

You mean the small Casebudi? I recall the site description says it fits watches up to 38mm "faces"

small casebudi fits my 40mm stuff great, however it is imho n/g for my Aquanaut, after it is in there for a week or so, the composite strap starts to take a set… it may not be a long term result, but its out of my comfort zone.

i don't see it being used for larger than 40mm, it would be too much of a squeeze.

Oakley on the head and Rolex on the wrist. Think that's the right way

Very smart of Casebudi to fill the void by making a small case. Oakley was very silly deciding to stop making the small size.

btw, the small Casebudi is on special for around $16 at the moment. No brainer really.

I bought 2 Casebudi's last year to keep my Rolex and Omega in when not being worn and they work great. I also take one with me when I travel to keep them in at night. Just can't see how the Oakley can be that much better, especially for the price you're seeing on the small ones now.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread about the small oakley watch vaults being a good investment.

Lucky to have 1 Oakley watch vault with me two nights ago, was told to remove watch at airport for scanning. Small, convenient and useful.👍

So silly when the case budi is virtually the same product, without the Oakley logo, which is a security benefit when traveling. I have two and love them.

I don't know if it's any use now but if any of you interested parties live in Portland, Maine, I was in the Oakley Vault store in Freeport at the end of April and asked about the small Oakley watch vault. The girl in the store checked online and said that there were currently 8 in stock but they were all with the Rolling Oakley's (or something like that) so she cannot order it in from them. I have since been told that apparently this rolling Oakley thing is a mobile store that travels around the state. If you can track these guys down maybe they still have some.

Bringing back an old thread...is the Oakley case officially discontinued now?

Size and quality wise how does the small Casebudi compare?

The small watch vault has been discontinued for some time now. I don't even see one on Ebay now. I'm not sure they even make the large one anymore. Everyone has switched over to the Casebudi. It's essentially the same thing.

I personally like the Oakley better than the casebudi but that's a moot point now, as there appear to be no more Oakleys showing up for sale.....

There's been at least two threads in the last 6 months about watches getting messed up while in that vault.
