Icon7 Never thought this day would come…

…where I would be able to purchase the 50th anniversary Snoopy at retail from an AD. I asked to be put on the “list” 4 years ago when the watch was announced and finally today my dream has come true. A huge thanks to the AD and person who helped me with this allocation. Not only did they pulled thru with this spectacular watch, they also happened to have a bracelet in stock that another customer ordered and never picked up. The Omega stars were aligned today and everything just fell into place. Couldn’t be more thankful. Haven’t been this excited about a watch in years!

I was also able to take a look at the new white dial Speedmaster which they had as a “display only” model. Hope to some day add this piece as well to the collection. The white dial is stunning, even a bit translucent I would say.

Here she is before going on a bracelet next to the white dial Speedmaster.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! Hopefully get a chance this weekend to swap to the bracelet and adjust it.

I did notice that the bracelet seems to have a lot of play/bend compared to an oyster bracelet for example. Was kinda surprised by that.

Yes, it is a pretty flexible bracelet. Very well made though and looks great. In some ways, quite similar to the jubilee bracelet. For my Snoopy I got the bracelet from my wife’s Speedy sapphire sandwich (the one with the polished bits). Did you get the one from the sapphire sandwich or from the hesalite version that is all brushed?

Both look great.

I got the one with polished bits. Can’t wait to swap it!

Congratulations it’s a beauty especially if you appreciate the historical significance of the Silver Snoopy award.

I had an opportunity to try one on the other day …. Now I want one

Spent a good chunk of my afternoon sizing and swapping to the bracelet. Man I wish all manufacturers would just adopt Rolex’s screws on the bracelets, life would be much easier lol.
