Slim chance they will have anything desirable to try on.

100% guarantee you will be losing vacation time to visit.

I say no-go.

Well the way to get them in stock for yourself is to purchase a diamond necklace when you arrive. Ask for the pepsi.

Then next day, repeat but with earrings.

then next day repeat but with bracelet.

Then next day, repeat but with a tiara.

Just keep repeating, you'll get it in stock.

I see there’s the same Rolex AD Goldfinger Jewelry in both islands. I am looking for GMT-Master II Oystersteel jubilee Pepsi or Sprite.

Have reached out to them to check and they are asking to setup an appointment as their inventory changes frequently. I am hesitant to setup one up or to lose time off my vacation unless they have either in stock for me to try on, see and purchase.

What is the likelihood of this AD having high demand pieces in stock?

Has anyone had any experience with them, and if so, what was your experience?

They had no inventory, everything was on "Exhibition." It sounds like the same thing happened to you.
you lost me at “Pepsi and Daytona”

Not worth the visit unless you have nothing else to do and just want to kill some time at the AD

You will not know unless you try. Stranger things have happened and this maybe the time and place to get the watch. If not, what are you out? Just a little time. Have a nice vacation.

These certainly are sad to think about.

I am fortunate to have a watch-loving, non-vindictive spouse.

OP -- "make an appointment and come in" is actually the right thing for the AD to say. Yes, they want to get you into the store, the chances that they'll sell either of these to you are essentially (but not entirely) nil, and they'll try to interest you in another watch and/or jewelry. But it would be naive to think that a business would say to you over the phone, "Don't bother coming into our jewelry and watch store." So long as YOU know the score.

I’m so over these righteous AD”s, I say act homeless, back up and take a dump on their welcome mat…….while wearing, of course your Rolex.

If this was about 7 years ago... yet am sure you know of the marketplace nowadays.

Imho your best bet is to enjoy your vacay and have fun. Keep check with your local AD of course :)

I would just stop in Goldfinger at your leisure when walking around Gustavia. There are so many incredible watch stores right there at the marina. You could spend hours watch shopping. Keep expectations low and have fun.

You think you can call an AD you don't have a relationship with and walk out with a watch most people have waited years for?

You seem to be after the really sort after models

Seems like a complete waste of time to expect to go in cold and buy a Pepsi, Sprite or Daytona.

Only way I can see it being fruitful is if you negotiate some sort of bundle which is attractive enough for the store.
