EXP II Baby!

Battled with the same decision, and after two months on this forum (and after recently selling a President), I have ordered the EXP II in black w/ my local AD (got a great price!).

What influenced my decision was the overall look, modern movement, super positive feedback on this forum, and generous 42mm size. The EXP II was the only one for me, once I did my research. Oh yea, and I am a sucker for orange!

Good luck with your decision... no bad choices here!

any problems fitting the Sub C glidelock clasp to your Exp II bracelet?

ExII Polar. Incredibly comfortable watch. So easy to read. My favorite Rolex SS watch.

I always thought myself also this watch should have been sold with the glidelock clasp. So was it as easy as removing the pins at the last link - clasp end and replacing the Oysterlock with the Glidelock?

How much was the Glidelock clasp, if I ever got the EXP II this is exactly what I would do also. Nice job and great review!

Yes, easy to replace; just requires unscrewing screws in the oyster bracelet.

The clasps are not cheap (be prepared for sticker shock) but worth it when associated with the life of the watch.

Should be able to find in the sales forum. PM me if not.

That must mean the end links are the exact same width between the sub C's and Exp II. Sometimes there is a difference/variation between bracelets, dunno perhaps to stop people swapping parts? But nice to see in this instance they are switchable

Thanks, I'll PM if I get round to it. May take many moons though.. got more pressing things that all my $$ is going to at present..

Buy a Rolex for what you love, and not for what its resale value is.

So, which one does your heart want?

Another thought, would the DSSD clasp also fit? Wonder if its interchangeable with the Sub C as well..

For fear of jacking the thread, yes, the DSSD will fit, but cost is astronomical.

Either watch is a great choice. Love my subc but the Ex2 is a phenomenal watch.

For a 6.25in wrist, I would stay with the sub for sure!
