Ap roo

Well after a long search, I have taken the plunge. Alinghi Polaris #986. Needless to say I am very pleased.

Childhood friend who is a very large watch collector, has 30+ limited AP's and too many others to count. Does not sell public, was looking for a City of Sails, called him for opinion, he said I would like this, he was correct, left with it.

Stunning piece, I really like the inner rotating bezel it is unique to this chrono!
I wanted this piece but its a bit more than I wanted to spend and I just wish AP
used an integrated chrono in the ROO!!!

The Polaris was a LE of 2,000 pieces in 2006-2007.
Got mine at an AD that had one sitting in the case just days after getting the AP line (got lucky).
They can still be found in the secondary market though. Great watch.

If I was to get it ROO that would REALLY be it, I came close a year or so ago
and still debate it.

I just feel my wrists are small for a ROO and as I've said I wish it was an integrated chrono

Hell yes!!!

This is how an ROO should be. Cool, limited, stunning and unique interface, chrono, and fun! Enjoy it!!!

Jeremy, do you like Richard Mille? Or would the piggy back module put you off that brand as well?
