Mine made it OK.

They said it was five seconds, and my watch said it was five seconds, but I think it was fifty.

I think I have worn my Explorer 2 300 days of the year the past two years. I have:

1) Been hit by a car on a bicycle - SAFE
2) Played Russian roulette 10 miles west of the Mekong - SAFE
3) Snowboarding back country, almost hit a hiker and knocked myself out on a tree - SAFE
4) AE work at tech company - NOT SAFE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, RED RED RED

2 I made up

Is it safe to pump a couple thousand barrels of acid into the north sea whilst wearing a Rolex?

Yes, extra safe given that 904L is slightly more resistant to corrosion than 316L....

Thanks. The Google photos app (ios or Android) allows you to automate a bunch of photos quite easily.

It's all fun and games until the baby slams it onto a tiled floor.

Exactly it is all fun and games, that's what this thread is all about. I think it'd be quite irresponsible leaving an infant by himself with a watch that he can potentially swallow. Especially by a tiled floor 😛.

............Yes it is safe, but just a couple of pointers going forward.

Don't cook the watch with the brocolli. Boiling or roasting a Rolex is not advised!
Or microwaving.

Don't try and eat the watch. It could damage a tooth.

And don't pour hot cheese sauce over it.

Ps you should also think about swapping the watch for a cheaper Sekonda and buying some crockery.

I should have checked on here if it's safe to go boxing wearing a BLNR.

It isn't.
Knocked out in round 2.
