I think i've lick tiny amount of tritium...
Hi, i was cleaning a T swiss T airking precision, it was water damaged and i was cleaning some dirt on the dial with a Q-Tip. I completly forgot about the tritium as being dumb... and i ve taped 2/3 times the q-tip with my tongue to wet it during the process... Should i be concerned ?

No, you are OK. Tritium is approximately 100,000 times less toxic than radium, and even radium almost certainly wouldn't be an issue with a small amount of ingestion, especially with a single exposure....but don't do it anymore!
Non, tu vas bien. Le tritium est environ 100 000 fois moins toxique que le radium, et même le radium ne poserait certainement pas de problème avec une petite quantité d'ingestion, surtout avec une seule exposition... mais ne le faites plus ! |

Tritium also has a pretty short half life of around 12 years so the dial is substantially less radioactive now than when it was produced
|
