Yes - it's a fake and a poor one at that! The 'quality' is just no there.

Fake

I'd give it back to the "wealthy" guy... I would be insulted if someone gave me a anything fake.

He never gave me the box and paper work and i was too embarrassed to call and ask for it as i might sound ungrateful.

Please see the images attached. you will notice the crown protector isnt there. Its because i took it off to get the watch polished.

I busted out laughing when I opened this thread. WOW, that thing is pure junk

I'm putting my vote down as a fake as well...

Why dont you send the pic to Panerai and see if they will vouch for it?

Why are you all so sure it's a fake????

I bought the exact same watch at a bargain price in Petaling Street KL and the seller said the original paperwork would follow in the post.

Nice Man, even had an associate fetch the watch from upstairs nearby

He assured me it was real and a bargain at RM$250 and the battery is real lithium that will last 5 years!!!!!

When people are saying this is authentic...it is very clear to me that are definitely lacking some paneristi in this forum....

- The seconds hands is too close to the center.
- In the back case it should have the model number and serial number "somewhere"

White dial PAMs:
Manual wind, 113, 114
Automatic, 49, 51, 251
Special edition chrono 60 and 225

I hope I didnt forget one.
Best,

If this story was for fun. You must be the poser that got good use out of the watch
