Maxi dial hands darker than dial?

Is it unusual to find a maxi dial where the hands have darkened more than
The dial? Looking at a full set top money just want to make sure they are original to the watch.
Many thanks for input.

I'm sure that you are talking tritium.

It is common to see a variation between hand patina and index patina. They are not loaded with the same batch of paint, and there may be considerable time between making the hands and painting the dial.
