Montblanc Meisterstuck Legrand Ballpoint

Wanted to share pictures of my new acquisition, the Montblanc Meisterstuck ball point legrand platinum. This is the first serious pen I have and hope it will give me joy for many years. Chose BP for practical reasons.

Perfect choice, I have one exactly like it except for gold trims instead of platinum. Very happy with and used it for two years exactly. First I was a bit dissapointed that MB did not have any gel ink ballpoint refills, but now I use the refill Bold blue which makes the writing very smooth.

Since starting to collect pens (this was my first) I've added several nice pens, Starwalker fineline, Caran d´Ach FP and one Meisterstück ballpoint platinum classic line. The LeGrand is the very best I feel, but at the same time I'm dissapointed with my other classic line BP as it lacks the quality feeling of the LeGrand. If you open up the pens you will notice that the classic size have a different construction and especially don't feel as heavy as the LeGrand. Anyway - a matter of taste I assume.

Use it with good health.

Very best regards

Thanks!
If fact I had the Classique for 2 days (present from wife) and after hours of consideration decided to take it back and swap to Legrand... exactly for the reasons you described. I am so happy I did that.

It's actually a funny looking watch, but it'd make a great pen!
