Your Rolex in the plane

I'm traveling all the time and I'm sure I'm not the only one spending a massive part of time in planes ............

I don't spend "massive" amounts of time on planes, but I do travel a good bit.

One of my routines is, if I am traveling to a different time zone, I do not change the time on my watch until the cabin door has been sealed...

Interesting. You wear your GMTIIC while playing 777 Flight Simulator? Your setup looks quite convincing by the way!

Now serious, I'm green with envy you guys can fly those birds. Also love your GMTIIC shot in the EK Suite in F. Best service on earth and great crews too.

Interesting I was talking with a customer who is a commercial pilot and he was saying everyone is wearing their smart watch now because of accuracy issues with their Rolex.

I'm a current commercial pilot and I can tell you that this just isn't true. Among Captains there are lots of nice watches. From time to time an FO will show up wearing a nice watch. Lots of GMTs and Subs. Millennials will occasionally wear the smart watches and they're annoying. Every time they move their arm the screen flashes to life in the corner of my right eye at night. As to accuracy, pre-service, my 116710LN was just over two seconds slow per day. Now it's one second fast per day. I guess I don't find that to be an accuracy issue.

I usually do this as I land, arrived. Also, routine. But I travel a lot.
