Platinum is awesome but that full gold piece is stunning in person. No doubt I would take that over a platinum on strap piece.

Plat 44mm ROO. The blue dial is amazing in the sunlight and pretty sure it's the only non LE ROO in Plat.

This is a close poll....the retail is only a few hundred dollars difference but the discounts on the platinum would save me approx 6-7k over the rose gold....would that factor into anyones decision??

I voted for the platinum option. I think it's a great piece. The gold is amazing also but I prefer the dial on the PT. The discount of 6-7k on the platinum is attractive also.

I would always vote for platinum, but you already have one 44mm, and two watches on rubber and I saw your pics from new AP boutique and rose gold go excellent with your skin tone. So I vote for new 42 RG...

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like how the gold/steel bracelet looks on the offshore models, for some reason I really like the Standard Royal Oak bracelet much better. So I would vote platinum.

All rose gold for me. Like the 42mm size better and that big chunk of gold can look stunning when matched correctly with your wardrobe. Plus you get a different bracelet for some variety. Good luck!

With your current line up I would go RG 42mm on bracelet as you already have a 44mm RG piece.

I love the new RG 42mm on bracelet. I'd get that then trade the 44mm RG + cash for Plat next.

wow - that's a tough choice. I'm glad I'm not having to make it as it would drive me nuts. Love them both. But if it came down to one, it would be based on current collection. I already have a RG AP, so would go with the platinum, no wait, maybe the RG, oh no actually.... would be the platinum - good luck and look forward to the incoming on either

Well I made the choice and went this way and couldn't be happier. I already have the 44mm in RG and I much prefer the color to platinum (although i love platinum as well) but the two things that pushed me over the edge are :
1. Non ceramic bezel 2. Full bracelet Oh and the 44 does wear pretty darn large on my 6.5" wrists, although I'm okay with that :) so I figured the 42 was the more sensible choice for daily wear |

Well use extreme caution when rocking out, those pieces , swinging your wrists around would be the equivalent to swinging a wrecking ball around.
