Michael Young, Hong Kong (Classic Watch Repair)
Michael Young in Hong Kong recently refurbished a 34 yr old 18ct President Oyster Day/Date Watch Band for me.
I am happy to recommend Michael to anyone who has a Rolex Band that needs attention. He quoted me USD1100/- and an 8-10 week turnaround.... the band was returned by FedEx in 6 weeks and at the quoted price. The workmanship is nothing short of superb... as is it were new. Rolex quoted USD10,975/- for an "exchange" band (the new price is around USD16,000/-).... so one has a right to be skeptical at a "refurbishment" price of USD1100/-..... Have so worries.... Michael knows exactly what he is doing, answers any questions you may have honestly and clearly and does exactly what he says he will do.......an absolute pleasure to deal with. Ronjo... in the UK |

Ronjo. Second the request for some before and after pics. Would be interested as I will soon need to send a bracelet to get the stretch out of it.

I never tire of heating these glowing reviews. I sent my DD band to him over a year ago, and the man is a genius...

I've sent an email to MY a few days ago regarding a quote for band restoration but have not heard back. Does he take a while to respond?

Does anyone have Michael Young's contact info?
I've got a Daytona TT, and the band was already getting loose. Now, a pin broke one link below the connection to the watch itself. So, I'm dying to get the band fixed and tightened up. But I can't find Young's contact info. Could someone please forward it to me or just post it in this thread? Thanks in advance. Christopher |

Sometimes he will take awhile to respond. Hopefully he's busy working on my two tone oyster to respond.

Michael actually got back to me overnight. At the time, I only asked him about the band and the broken pin, but the watch itself desperately needs to be serviced. It's a 2001 Daytona, and I'm embarrassed to say that I've never had it serviced, so, it's about 10 years over due. Does anyone have any experience with him having serviced their watch itself, as opposed to just the band?
Thanks again in advance for the info. Christopher |

Do not send the whole watch. You might have trouble getting it back into the country. http://www.crownandcaliber.com/watch...united-states/

@Old Expat Beast, thanks for the tip.
So, do you - or does anyone else - have someone they can highly recommend for getting the watch itself serviced? |

I recommend Rik Dietel at Time Care Inc. service your watch. He is located in Seminole Florida and is a member here on the forum. He has over 30 years experience and a Rolex parts account. Does awesome work.
