They are mentioned in the who's who section.
Be aware of whether or not the have the watch in stock. You will not get the OEM warranty, rathe jomashop's. |

I purchased my first watch, a Breitling Superocean chronograph from JomaShop about four years ago. The price was considerably lower through them as opposed to my AD but as Speed mentioned above, you will not receive an OEM warranty with your watch. It was fairly easy ordering through them and since they were based in Brooklyn when I purchased it, I received my watch the next day without paying extra for shipping.

Like Speed mentioned, just call ahead to make sure they have the watch in stock. If you're saving a considerable amount, it's well worth it to not have the standard warranty.. especially if it's something that's two years or less. There's little chance you'd have to use it anyways with the level of watches we're into.

Thank you guys....I was looking to get 537 & my ad is giving it for retail 9k and 5% discount. Jomashop has it for 7k ...so I am saving about $1500. Do you guys think it's worth it to go with jomashop ?

I bought a Hamilton and a Victorinox from them. Everything went fine...
I tried buying a Speedmaster Pro from them, and their site stated: In stock But, after a few days of no response they tell me I have to wait a few more days because theyre trying to "look for one for me". I told them to cancel my order. They have a bad habit of stating they have in stock but last minute, they play this annoying little game. |

I bought watches from them mostly under 1k and they ship quick. The warranty is under jomashop and not by manufacturer since they are not an "AD" authorize distributors of most brands that they sell. I live in California. If you live close to them maybe its better to stop by their store and see the watches in person if they have a retail front.

They are reputable but like others mention. They show watches they don't have in stock and that could make you wait up to 12 weeks to get the watch. Also they give you there warranty and not a manufactures warranty.

I wouldn't be worried about if the watch was 1K or under but since this is a big purchase I want to make sure that I get the expert opinion on this forum. From what I'm hearing I think the best bet for me would be to go to an authorized distributor and pay the money and get the watch.

I bought my Omega FOIS Speedmaster from them. No issues, but like everyone mentioned, they are considered grey market and does not come with the factory warranty.

As others have said, just make sure to call and ask if they have the watch in stock. Don't go for a watch that isn't in stock because unless it is a very popular model, they may never get it.
I tried to order a victoriox as a gift. It wasn't in stock, but said that it would ship in 2-3 weeks. I went ahead and placed the order. A month went by and no update. I called and they said they would definitely get it. They never did so I ended up cancelling my order. Watch is still listed and it still says that it will ship in 2-3 weeks. |

Probably not anything really high-end. Lower range should be fine. Make sure they have the stock.

I had a horrible experience with them. They are not honest. They inflate their reviews. For example you can go to resellerratings.com and I wrote a review of what happened. You need an order number to post the review. My review was initially pulled because Jomashop wrote and told them I faked the order number. So i went and scanned my receipt and sent back to the web site.. So my review was eventually reposted but now way down on the list (date related). I am sure most would not go through what I did. So I do trust them. Sure if nothing goes wrong--- but if there is a problem their customer service is horrible. Moreover I ended up finding the same piece at an AD for the same price--- so in my opinion --- not worth it.

I've ordered several watches from Jomashop with no issues - A Raymond Weil, a Gucci, a Shinola & a Frederique Constant. I order, and 2 days later the package is waiting at my door, easy peasy. I was surprised to hear of problems, but then again, considering their markups it shouldn't be so stunning that there is no support to be had when something goes awry.
I think they're probably best for that level of the market, and as far as I can tell they generally have excellent prices, although it sometimes can pay to do a little more shopping. |

I was about to order a citizen's dive watch from Amazon but found out Jomashop was selling the same watch for about $50 less. There website said it was on back order so I called them and the person I spoke with confirmed it was on back order and would take about 5 weeks to get the watch, but my credit card would not be charged until they shipped the watch. Just got an email stating the watch has been shipped and to expect it shortly. Total time was just under 3 weeks. I would have been happy waiting the 5 weeks for the savings. So in short, I am pleased with them.

I had similar experience - better price at Jomashop, and reasonable service. I see a lot of people here talking about the warranty issue, but since I've bought the watch a couple of years ago, I didn't give it that much thought. Anyway so far I had no problems with the watch. Hope it will stay that way. |
