Chicago AD's. Need some help. Going to mag mile this weekend.

Ok guys. I'm taking the wife over the weekend for a small getaway. I'm also getting a watch. It doesn't have to be over the weekend. I have preferred dealers I like to deal with to get the best price etc. BUT if it was close to the same pricing at one of these AD's I would buy one in Chicago.

First off, I need a big selection. I was ready to pull the pin on an omega Planet ocean 8500 XL. BUT she's complaining on how they all look the same. Not that it's totally out of the running but I want to be able to show and compare the other watches I've been looking at. One of them being the Zenith pilot type 20 gmt and misc. panerai's.

I'm thinking tourneau has the biggest selection? I have never bought from there but I've heard mixed reviews over the years. Are they good/bad? Do they discount when poked? I was planning on going to Swiss fine timing also.

Any other suggestions of places and tips would be great.

I see lots of seemingly great watch stores but that doesn't mean the pricing will be where we would like it lol

Howard Frum is the best don't even bother with Tourneau, trust me I was there last month. Tourneau had 2 Rolex in the entire store.

Thread closed ....... thanks to a trf member I had an awesome referral at Swiss fine time!

Daniel is awesome to deal with as referred by the trf member. He's an enthusiast not just a guy working at a watch store. I'll post a thread soon on what I picked up. Although very nice it wasn't the zenith.
