I spoke with my CC company yesterday. They have the paperwork together to send to his financial institution for a chargeback, but due to the higher amount involved are holding it until a supervisor can check it all over to make sure all the T's are crossed and I's are dotted.

Exactly (x 100) - that is the point of the Who's Who and Watch Out!!! sections. I am always a little perplexed at the comments regarding outing scoundrels when that is expressed purpose of these sections.

Hi Flyer, my CC company finally came through and reversed the charge today, so I've now been made whole from this deal. Lesson learned.....
