service
Bought a 5035 upon release ~25 years ago from an AD ( IIRC about a 22% discount ) It was my daily wear for many years. 10 years in I had a routine service. For the last 3 months its my every day watch and it runs perfectly. Question: Routine service or not ?

I have had my 5035G since 2005. Serviced it for the 1st time in 2022. My rule of thumb is don't service the watch unless you notice it is not keeping the time accurately or the power reserve is not lasting too long once the watch is off your wrist.
If it is working fine, then let it be. |

I always hear, the stuff that wears out is replaced in a full service, so it doesn't hurt to wear the watch if it is running properly.
