Not really. Goyard may have been founded a year before but Louis Vuitton introduced the canvas trunks and patterned canvas years before Goyard

No worries - I prefer Goyard and like that its not as well known as LV (and my wife works for LVMH)

Awesome card holder, I was really debating between that and the wallet, even more so the color. I actually had the SA pull the dark blue wallet from shipping to switch it out with the lighter blue one, and am so happy I did. Personally I think it matches my BLNR very nicely. congrats on your goyard purchase

Yes, the color was a difficult decision!
I wanted the blue one first, but changed my mind and went with the navy, the opposite of you.

Goyard is just lovely.

Where are you guys ordering the wallets from?

I saw a TV show last night about pawn brokers. A girl found two Goyard 1950's trunks at a car boot/yard sale....total cost £50 ($80). Were they real? Yep. Were they worth Thousands? Yep. Lucky girl.

I ordered my card holder directly from Goyard in Paris. I found an email address to the headquarters and a few days after I send my inquiry I got a really nice response from Myriam. She answered all my questions and I got quotes and shipping costs. I paid with a direct bank transfer which is free and fast within the EU. Excellent service!

This was partly a test order, I am contemplating getting a Grand Bleu in GM size. I have yet to decide what color I want and if I want any customizations.

Hey, you're in London, why don't you just pop in to the Goyard store there? They can order anything for you and you can check the stuff out before you buy.

That's a good idea and I keep meaning to do that but I don't get out much and when I do it's usually to another country. I'm hardly in London these days tbh, only coming back to fly out. I think I am too used to internet shopping now as well at home. The only time I seem to buy things in shops now is when i'm abroad and exploring other cities.
