Will GMT2 16710 become more desirable?
Knowing all these rumors around the new Coke version and Pepsi / Batman being discontinued from their catalogue, do you guys see 16710 becoming more desirable model down the line? I just can't think of any Rolex models that allow you to swap 3 different bezels.

Because anyone can make 16710 any of the three it will not be influenced by ceramic discontinuation. Batman won’t either.

The 16710 was more desirable to me due to the flexibility to change out bezels (and to change to a jubilee bracelet if I can find one), but I also liked the look of the aluminum bezel more than the ceramic - a personal preference of course.
Whether swapability (if that's a word) projects to value/prices I don't know, but it did play into my want to purchase one. Having that versatility was a factor. |

The 16710 remains very popular and I don't see that changing. The bracelet and bezel options make it a unique reference that won't likely ever be repeated.
