Cartier Santos XL 100..

Hey,
I'm having a dilemma here and I think that the best of all people to ask about it is you guys.

Thing is, that for some time I've been thinking about selling the Rubber Santos. I think that it was always destined to be sold.. But after I found out that the model has been discontinued I made seconds thoughts because of price, rarity etc in the few years to come.

There is no direct need for the money, thank God, but thing is that... It is indeed a GORGEOUS watch and I wanted to buy it for years, believe me, but I haven't "fell in love" with it.. (if you know what i mean)...

Anyway just wanted to share so I could hear out your opinion as well.
Question is... would you consider it as a ...um... LIFETIME keeper..??
Thanks

Go with your gut. Its not really a rare piece, if you want to find it again I'm sure you will.

I'm not a big proponent of holding onto a watch that I never wear. Wish list is too long.

I like the Santos and will probably buy another XL Galbee at some point. However, Cartiers are mass produced, not sure about the 100 but most Santos are ETA based, resale value is average at best. Basically there is nothing special about them except for their appearance. So, not really buying the rarity argument with this one.

I have thought about selling mine due to the fact I want to buy a GMT travel watch but I think the Santos is so comfortable to wear. This was a Grey Edition

thanks for your input guys...
various decisions have been taken the past few days because as said above, wish list is too long for something to be sitting around waiting for "some-day"..

anyway here are some pics i took the other night as well as a wrist one!
