1. The only difference with the 78790 and 78790A is the latter is SEL.
2. The stamped end links don't rattle noticeably more than the other if properly installed unless you're holding it up in the air and shaking it or using the wrong spring bars. 3. The 14270 didn't come with a 78790 bracelet. 4. To fit SEL the watch case needs the machined lip on the backside to locate the end link. 5. If you have them both, why aren't you swapping them out and showing us if they fit or not?

Thanks for the reply. I got the 14270 from Jomashop and it came on the 78790 bracelet. It seems to fit very well on it but the rattle I believe is coming from the “center link” of the end links. I’ve seen 2 different clasps on this model depending on the year so I wonder if more than 1 bracelet was used for this reference. Mine is an “A” serial which I believe makes it a 99’. Do you happen to know which bracelet is supposed to come on this piece then? I thought about trying to fit the SEL bracelet off my Explorer II on it but I have such a difficult time putting it back on after I remove it I figured someone might of known on here before I attempted it. |
