Who here is knowledgeable about Namiki? I find some of their designs appealing, and they take the same refills as the Pilot G-2s. How heavy are they in relationship to a MB Meisterstuck Classique? Any info would be most appreciated. Cheers, Faith

Today I am using my MB BP. After losing it for a brief time, I now have a renewed interest in it.

Conklin All American in Banana Yellow filled with Private Reserve Copper Burst.
Conklin All American has 14K nib (unusual for the FP of this price range) and "Demonstrator Feed".

John, clear "Demonstrator Feed" is kind of neat but I have no idea as to the usefulness of it..
Conklin claims that clear "demonstrator" feed allows the ink to be viewed as it feeds into the nib to ensure a smooth writing experience. True value of this pen is the fact that it has solid 14K nib (not plated) for <$100 FP.

I'm using a Pilot G2 Limited that I got from Kmart last weekend. It was $5.50 and had a $3 rebate, so a damn nice pen for $3 USD!

Pilot makes the best inexpensive pens, hands down! I love their Center of Gravity pens and also their G-2s. Inexpensive doesn't mean they write poorly!

Help! I think I lost my MB BP. I only know of one pen shop who still has a couple in inventory and is charging almost $100 extra because its scarce. Does anyone know where I might be able to locate a brand new MB Meisterstuck Classique in Bordeaux without paying through the nose for it? Thanks, Faith

Faith, I'm sorry you lost your pen.....you must feel lousy by the whole experience. Maybe you could check with the Fountain Pen Hospital in NYC..
Another thought, do you have a MontBlanc company store in the city where you live???

Been there, done that (with local MB company store & FPH). Both are sold out! Looks like I have to pay that price or I'm SOL!

Considering the fact that I've been very ill for the past week and a half and today was my first day back to work...I was using my Cross Aventura (I actually love this cheapie) with Black ink, my Pelikan M250 with a custom mixed very dark purple ink, and the Mont Blanc Carbon using Blue-Black.....I was afraid they would be mad at me if I didn't give them equal love....

Zebra and Pilot at work, no handwriting so far this evening...I should probably break out the MB and jot down a few thoughts.
