The Ultimate Rolex...?

Yes, I would have to concur...

You haven't really experienced a ROLEX Watch until you have strapped on a
PM GMT Master ll

1/2 lb. of amazing comfort and heft.

Very nice, but not sure I’d call it the ultimate Rolex.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. If its the ultimate Rolex in your eyes and you behold it, well that’s fantastic.

It’s certainly a beautiful watch with a beautiful synergy between bezel and dial, but the ultimate moniker remains subjective

Still, a huge congrats, it looks good on you

I am equally enthusiastic about mine, I know how you feel.

It’s next level over SS.

Yours is great, enjoy the heck out of it.
This isn’t mine but I do have a 16758 serti jubilee exactly like this and would say that it is as royal and regal as it gets.
All of the PM’s are incredibly special.

Love everything about that watch but the purple-ish color of the bezel just irks me a bit.

Agree with the heft - couldn't believe how heavy it is when I held it.

Dare I say I wish it had the slimmed down lugs like the latest SS?

But yes, a viable candidate for ultimate and very wearable as a daily.

Concur, the purple and blue clash.

The 116719BLRO is a gorgeous watch with some great heft to it as you say. Plus I think the warmer tones of the white gold work better than SS with the more pastel bezel shades. But for me personally, it always has to have the black dial. I’ve got to be honest, the blue dial just doesn’t work for me: it’s just too different to the shade of “blue” used in the bezel.

But that’s JMO, which counts for nothing! So congrats OP - it looks great on your wrist.

It's an incredible watch, for sure.

As for ultimate...well, let's just say there are a LOT of contenders for that title.
