Question re. 16610 LV green bezel

Other then the green hang tag that has the serial number and a LV or V after the number is there any way to tell if a 16610LV is legit and not merely a 16610 that has a changed dial and hands and bezel? In other words, is there a designation for the LV anywhere else to verify it is legit?

The reference number on the case is different iirc.....but let's see what the pros have to say.
You can also have it confirmed through an AD or RSC through the serial number.

No, there is not (except warranty card too). It is only an option identifier on the paperwork, nothing else.

A 16610LV and a 16610LN are identical in every way except for the maxi dial/hands and the insert - and those are completely interchangeable.

Wrong, the 16610LV cases are all marked with 16610T like the normal ones from that age
