So ya got a thing for big thick watches....I gotta buddy that says if it's less then 47mm he cant wear it. 44mm looks small on his wrist. I think a panerai and rolex are a great combo. Myself I'm still looking for a Pam-292J....just taking awhile to search for it.

Concerning big watches... Here is my Bell & Ross WW1-92 Military.
It's 45mm but I can only wear it because it's not thick.

Not a bad pair to choose. For me a PAM burns bright at first but fizzles soon after.
My duo would be a Rolex 116600 and a Patek 5227G Calatrava. Don't have the Patek as my preference is for 5 other Rolex instead...I like variety. |

Probably not many, however, I restricted myself to only choose from watches I currently own or have owned. And IMO you have to have a certain wrist size to wear these two watches IMO, so relatively many will probably disagree with me, and that is fine :) My "perfect duo" will undoubtly change as years pass by ;)

I have to disagree.
The perfect 2 watch Rolex collection would be a GMT or Sub paired with an Explorer or DateJust.

An excellent pair of dive watches indeed - and plenty of strap fun to be had with the PAM - nice to see some variation
Panerai and Rolex are a natural pairing, especially given their shared history. Something I consistently note over on P.com is how much Rolex appreciation there is - and certainly no bashing
