Batman doesn’t call me either...

I have some watches and the Batman I barely give it wrist time. Also got:

Hulk, GMT 16710, Sub 16610, SD4K, DayDate40, New Daytona, WG Daytona on Oysterflex, APH Daytona, Tudor BB rose dial, 14060M, Sub Fat Four , GMT16700.

Should I trade the Batman for another watch?
What reference?

Many thanks,

N

Seems like you have the GMT base covered and the ceramic bezel option covered off too. If you don’t wear the batman and feel you’d be happier with something else in your collection then I think you should go ahead and move it on.

What’s on your radar?

TBH I think thats too many watches.

Sell some off or upgrade to PM and reduce your collection to 3-4

DD40 + Plat Daytona + Yellow gold sub. Only 3 watches you will ever need.

Agree, far too many. Get rid of the duplicates before a 6 digit GMT....

If it doesn’t sing to you, but the others do, I’d get rid of it before anything else as it’s a good time to sell, value-wise.

If you don't need money, just keep all of them, they are so beautiful.

I am surprised the Batman doesn't sing to you. As an owner myself, I enjoy it in the rotation.

Yes, you should keep it! Just because you don't enjoy it and don't wear it is no reason to sell it. Others like it! So keep it!

Only on TRF....

If you don’t wear the Batman and have the GMT category covered, I say sell it. Use the funds to get something that’s different/missing from the collection, or not. You’ve got a nice lineup as is.

I’d trade it in for something else.

Look at a Royal Oak or the new jlc master calendar that came out this year

With a WG OF already in the mix, I’m surprised that any other watch gets must wrist time in your bull pen! Great collection there!

Sometimes I think some watches actually exist to make the collection look great rather than get worn. No need to move it.

Batman needs to go to the Batcave........you're not wearing it......sell it or trade it. Maybe a Coke GMT will be coming out soon and that will definitely sing to us all!!!!!!

If it doesn’t get wrist time move it for something different. It looks like you have a lot of similar watches. Move to something different, maybe a skyD?

I’d sell the BLNR if you’re certain it’s not for you. Take the money and buy a trip when things open back up, or maybe just save it for something else that tickles your fancy

sell the pieces that you aren't in love with, no point keeping it. Maybe branch out to AP, or Patek :)

Seems you have all the bases well covered. I’d sell it if you don’t wear it. No need to replace it, but a nice leather strapped dress watch might be nice, I’ve started to get the bug for dress watches after being pretty much sport watch guy for my whole life.

Depending on how much you want to spend you can get a nice cheap but pretty Orient Bambino, for quite a bit more, some form of Grand Seiko, steel JLC Master Moon, higher still, A Lange & Söhne, Patek Calatrava etc.

I wouldn’t trade it at all if I were you. Put it in the safe deposit box and don’t look at if for a few months. Or put your other watches way and wear the Batman for a few weeks. You need to rotate otherwise you get stuck with a favorite and won’t wear the rest.

Have you tired wearing it with the bezel turned a bit? Might give it a different look. Or get a rubber B strap for it. Maybe the black one with the blue line.

Agree with comments above on the number of watches. I'd streamline the collection.

Once you have a glut of watches, sometimes none of them will sing to you. Less is more in this case. You'll appreciate the ones you keep.

I would keep it you clearly bought it because you liked it so if you don’t need the cash I say keep them all,In the end you can never have too many watches.

Agree with above, Batman to batcave if you are not wearing it. Personally my Batman is one of my favorite everyday watches. It’s ultimately your choice but I would not wear a hulk if it was free. That is one of ugliest Rolex watches ever made to me. That being said , go with your heart and not what others think.
