Daytona SS help

Guys/Gals

I really need some help with a tech question please.

Asked this before and got mixed views, I want to source a WG Daytona bezel and fit it to a 116520 but have been told the latest SS Daytona the crystal or bezel fitment is slightly different so not as easy as it is on the early models!

Now I don't know if it's a case of more work and maybe tools required to fit the WG bezel to the latest SS model or if there is also a newer bezel and so I need to make sure I source the right WG bezel!!

Does sound like a mine field but I really want to fit the WG bezel to an SS Daytona as the bezel markings are so much nicer

AFAIK there are two bezel systems.
1. Friction(old style)
2. Delrin (New Style)
If your 116520 has Delrin, its possible that it will fit, given that the Crystal is still a 295. If the Crystal Circumference has been changed on the new WG Daytona, the Crystal Ring changed along with it which means it will not fit on your 295 fitted Daytona. That is if the crystal was changed, which I doubt. I will try to check this weekend

Thanks for the info, I haven't got the Daytona yet but it's a BNIB so it will be the latest design.

Haven't had much luck there appears to be quite a few variations when it comes to bezels!

From what I can find all are the same diamensions but in typical Rolex style the precious metal ones have the channeling at the rear to reduce metal usage!

No online sellers are listing any difference in the WG bracelet models Vs the strap ones?! Which is odd as Dalton lists them as different and so does another TechXpert on here! Guess the sellers don't care and are labelling them as suitable for both variations!

Does anyone know which the actual difference is between a friction fit bezel and a bezel using the delrin?

Pressure fitted is smooth on the inside(The area that makes contact with the crystal gasket) Delrin has a groove for the delrin gasket
