If I was into Daytonas, I'd definitely go with the legendary Zenith movement. More valuable than the in-house, too.

the zenith gets my vote
have had a few modern ones the new gmt ceramic type clasp is superb but prefer the zenith dial the black sub dials rings are just a lot nicer than the modern silver equivalent |

Rolex all the way. I prefer the look of the sub-dials on the Daytona with the new rolex movement. I is also my understanding that the movement on the new Daytona is second to none. Will pick my white face Daytona on 3/5/11.

I own both (will soon be selling the current version) and in my opinion the white dial Zenith is stunning while the modern Daytona white dial would benefit tremendously from anti-reflective glare crystal. If you are going to buy one, I would highly recommend looking at both in person before pulling the trigger
