Bobby Douglass.

Jim Harbaugh wasn't bad.

That's it. For the life of me I just can't come up with the name, but always recognize it when someone else does.

Peyton was the only reason to watch them when he came along, that is until just about a year or two before he retired. Peyton was just such a fabulous, exciting, marvelous, amazing running back to watch. He was the team.

Did I forget anything?

The Bears BC (before Cutler)...

Brian Urlacher, Charles Tillman, and the 2006 Bears were pretty good.

Always thought the biggest loss between Peyton and Polian was Bill Polian.

Guessing the teams coming up on the Bears schedule will offer to fly in the world's best hand specialists.

They Bears struggle with QB talent evaluation at all levels. They don't have anyone in the organization that can recognize useful QB upside.

0-16 is not out of the question this year. I'm a Bears fan, and I see no upside anywhere.

How about a Cutler for Kirk Cousins trade, I hear Gruden isn't a Cousins fan just didn't have another option.

Gruden parted with RGIII. I doubt he'd want another diva that isn't coachable.

Brady is no longer essential for the Pats. They could win with anybody.

This is shaping up to be a terrible season in terms of overall competitiveness. ...There have been A LOT of important games played so far that really give insight as to what is what....but the wheat is already separating from the chaff...

AFC

NE / PITT / DENVER

Bengals and NYJ are ok teams, but not really contenders. The Texas were BADLY EXPOSED tonight, so they are totally off the contender list. Everybody else in AFC is already playing out the string until next year.

NFC
Giants / Panthers

The Packers / Vikings / Cardinals are next....but they all have problems.

Packers seem lethargic and out of synch

Cardinals are soft and overrated, especially on defense.

Vikings? I like their defense. Do they have enough offense? BIG test this Sunday against Panthers...

Wildcard in this is always Seahawks. Can they pull it together?

Eagles? Seem to be put together well. Could be an interesting team...but not this year.

The rest? Crap.

So there you have it. 2016 NFL season in a nutshell.

I see the NY Giants and the Patriots having another Superbowl.

Patriots have already beaten two playoff teams with tons of injuries and a 3rd string QB. I don't like them at all, but they are just so well coached it's ridiculous.

Giants make big defensive changes that have paid off. V Cruz is back. Eli has weapons and is a super clutch champion. Barring injury I like them in NFC

You heard it here first.

Agreed. The man is 33 years old, that's not exactly young by NFL standards. Heck, he's only a few years younger than Michael Vick

Whether Bears or Cubs fan for the most part winning isn't something you are able to experience that often. Oh well........
