Is opened extesion clasp safe?
I was wondering if wearing the watch with the extesion clasp open all the time, if it is safe for the watch?

Yes, but then you lose the benefits of the adjustability to make it bigger if it gets tight during the day. To be fair I rarely adjust mine (always closed). Why not and a link keep it in the closed position and move the micro adjustment in instead keeping it open... Just my suggestion.

What exactly are you referring to? EasyLink, Glidelock, Diver’s Extension, etc.?
All should be just fine for the watch, but might compromise comfort depending on exactly what you’re asking about. |

Yes, it is safe but not very convenient. As Spoonage noted, you be better off adding a link and putting the extension back in the clasp.

I'd add a link as well, the result will be more comfortable than utilizing the extension.

Are you talking about the diver's extension which opens up to enlarge the bracelet enough to wear over a bulky dive suit? That can be worn open or shut. Works well either way.
