No hole lugs...

I'm currently starting to research the purchase of a used 16613 Sub, with
champagne Serti dial, to replace my P model 16610.
I've run across several on ebay that fit the bill, but want to get the no hole lug
model.
I was under the assumption that that version of the sub started with the D series in 2005,
but have run across some watches that are F series advertised
and don't have the holes.
My question is which model year started the no hole version, the F or the D?
Thanks for any help to a new guy at the forum,
Jack
