Any rolex that has been "blinged up". Even diamonds on the dial for hour markers are too much for me.

Hi all
I own a 16610 sub and honestly, it is my first ever Rolex and might as well be my last.
Not a huge fan of the current way Rolex design their watch IMHO. I do like every model they offer pre-ceramic/wide lug/enlarge case. I won't point out which model I least like, because someone else in this forum might happen to own that particular model. Cheers |

I personally don't like (in no order):
DSSD - Size and dome crystal YM2 - YG and blue, no thanks... Milgauss - Dial and dodgy bolt hand EXP2 - Priced too close to the Sub, would rather have a sub Air King/OP - Why? A little more gets you a DJ There is a lot of hate out there for the Daytona, I must admit when I first saw it, it didn't appeal to me but after a few years, it grew on me. Now I love them. You get used to the dial very quickly and you can tell the time just as fast/well as any other watch. The Sub and GMT seem to be the most popular and I have to agree, they are both great and if you're ever going to have only one Rolex, it should be one of these (I chose a SubC). |

My least favourite is probably the Bark day date but as we are on the subject I hate females wearing mens watches. Ladies should wear the Lady datejust or at a push the size up datejust. No offence to anybody. Makes me laugh at how very well off girls in the media wear gold daytonas and day date II's but not Pateks. Very much a fashion thing.

To those who thought this thread was a bad idea, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Who cares if someone doesn't like the things you like? Own your opinion and be not offended when opinions differ from yours.
I would wear any Rolex given to me but would immediately sell anything with diamonds or other gems. I don't find those attractive in a man's watch and feminizes the watch to me. My least favorite Rolex is the Daytona but only because my mid-40s eyes would find the chrono function of little use. However, the rose gold/chocolate dial Daytona looks incredible to me. YMII is out there in design but if I owned a yaht I'd get one just to say f*** yeah. It seems the poor Milguass took the most bashing but I think the lightning bolt second hand is the coolest feature of the watch and I would love a GV. Some didn't like anything with ceramic dials but I love them. I am a bit concerned about their long-term durability on "tool" watches, however. |

As long as there's no diamonds I'd happily wear any Rolex.
